The difficult situation that many companies find themselves in requires owners to make decisions to cut some costs and, in the worst-case scenario, close their business.
What to do to save your business in difficult times?
Analysis first
First of all, review your bills. Give up services that you and your business can do without. Fitness cards, access to streaming platforms, additional services that you don’t have time or desire for anyway. Also review your internet or phone bills. They are a treasure trove of unused services. If possible, suspend loan and lease payments or end the lease agreement amicably.
Move your business to the internet
Use the suspension time to analyze opportunities and rebuild your business so that you can retain at least some of your revenue. You can develop a branch that you have been thinking about for a long time, but didn’t have time for. Build an online store or write an expert study on a topic in which you are a specialist.
Remember to approach your venture objectively – don’t make large investments counting on the return after the pandemic ends. If you are not convinced of the rightness of your decisions – give up.
Use a virtual office
If fixed costs, such as office rental, electricity bills, maintaining an assistant or internet access are killing you, consider using the offer of a virtual office. As part of the purchased packages, you will be able to register your company with us and use the services of an assistant. On site, you can work peacefully in our coworking space and organize a meeting or hold an online conference, and you will also receive free internet access. For an additional fee, you can use printing and scanning services. Cold and hot drinks are also available to our clients.
You can try to put the devices you have previously used in the office up for sale, which will improve your budget.
Recover money from unpaid invoices
Everyone is having a hard time right now, but use every opportunity to recover even partial payments of overdue invoices. Negotiate with your contractors, and if that doesn’t work, issue pre-trial demands for payment. If you have a problem with that, write to us, we’ll prepare the correspondence for you.
